Privacy Policy

CanTalk (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the CanTalk mobile application.

1. Information We Process

Depending on how you use CanTalk, we may process:

• Learning progress data stored on your device (for example mastered words, review history, quiz scores, and saved phrases).
• Purchase-related data associated with Apple In-App Purchases and subscriptions (for example product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and membership status kept locally for app functionality).
• Clipboard content only when you return to the app and the clipboard contains text that CanTalk may paste into the Translate input. Clipboard text is processed on device and is cleared after paste when that feature runs.
• Device and usage signals that Apple or the operating system may expose in the normal course of running the app (for example crash diagnostics if you enable them through Apple).

2. How We Use Information

• To provide translation, learning, phrasebook, progress, speech, and shop features.
• To remember your coin balance, membership status, and preferences on your device.
• To process purchases and restore entitlements through Apple.
• To improve reliability and respond to support requests you send us.

3. On-Device Storage

Core learning and wallet data is stored locally on your device (including secure storage such as Keychain where applicable). Uninstalling the app may remove local data.

4. Third-Party Services

CanTalk may use network services to generate translations and related content. Payment processing for coins and subscriptions is handled by Apple. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed to operate the app (for example Apple for purchases), to comply with law, or with your direction when you contact support.

6. Children

CanTalk is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Your Choices

• You can clear or stop using clipboard paste by keeping the clipboard empty before opening the app.
• You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
• You can delete the app to remove local app data from the device.
• You can email jesminsohail@icloud.com for privacy questions.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of CanTalk after an update means you accept the revised policy.
